Stephen studied at Wellington College and at the Law Society’s School of Law, London
He was admitted to the Rolls as a Solicitor in 1967, and in 1968 became a founder member of Elborne Mitchell & Co, Solicitors, in the City of London. He practised exclusively in Commercial and related business, is particular Banking and Finance, Insurance, Reinsurance and relevant dispute resolution procedures.
