Rebecca Mensah
Rebecca gained legal work experience at Harding Mitchell whilst completing her Legal Practice Course with masters at BPP University, Holborn, before joining the team as a Paralegal in November 2020.
During her studies, Rebecca gained previous experience through volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau as an assessor, where she liaised with clients in one-to-one interviews and conducted research on factual and legal issues on behalf of the client to solve their enquiry. At BPP University, she was elected the Student-Staff Liaison Committee representative for her cohort, where she gathered information from her peers regarding comments they had about the teaching and module, and presented these issues to the committee panel and senior members of staff.
Prior to this, Rebecca studied Law with French Law at the University of Birmingham, where she graduated with an upper second-class degree with honours. During her course, Rebecca had the opportunity to spend a year abroad in Bordeaux, France to study at the Université de Bordeaux Montesquieu, where she earned a ‘Certificat de Droit’.
Rebecca can understand and communicate in French and Spanish.
In her spare time Rebecca likes to cook, read and attend music festivals.
