Corinne Elle Atangane, Biography
Corinne joined Harding Mitchell in September 2019 as a Legal Assistant.
Corinne has acquired extensive practice experience in several jurisdictions, working alongside international Lawyers in London and Geneva. She has established a solid understanding of business requirements. She is keen on making the justice accessible to everyone and worked 12 months pro-bono at Brent Citizen Advice Bureau providing legal advice, support and signposting following in-depth client interviews. She has acted as a consultant to private companies in London and has participated in several consultative group sessions where her multi-competencies skills are required as Business owner, Accountant and Lawyer. Corinne frequently attends at Board and Shareholder meetings and became a specialist in corporate filings, books and compliance. Corinne has advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, franchises, insolvency and employment for significant investment projects. Corinne also worked for one of the biggest regulator in UK (NMC – the Nursing and Midwifery Council).
Her very good knowledge of Cameroon together with her strong international background working 12 years in Paris, 8 years in London and 2 years in Geneva gives her a global perspective and an ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment.
Key skills and Achievements
- Financial Experience: A competent level of experience gained from setting up and managing a business in France and in London, in addition to her position part time as Legal & Financial Controller for Salisbury Support for Autism Ltd, handling business accounts including cash flow management, preparation of management reports, budget projections, payroll and year end annual accounts.
- Team Leadership: Assembled and led teams of up to 70 people; recruiting, training and developing individuals to focus on both individual performance and the overall attainment of business goals. Established effective monitoring processes, dovetailing into individual objectives and training plans.
- Commercial Acumen: Established a solid understanding of business requirements, with experienced gained from managing own business, and MBA qualification. Successfully delivered significant cost savings for businesses.
- Client Relationship Management: As a Citizen Advice Bureau Adviser, responsible for liaising between clients and solicitors / other 3rd parties ensuring the client’s views are understood. Corinne always searches for the better way to improve business relationships with customers, specifically focusing on retaining customers, in order to drive sales growth. She is providing efficient feedback to customer.

Aspires to set up and conduct her own Law Practice in Cameroon and share her knowledge to Colleges and Universities.

Corinne is a graduate of both the University of Westminster, London, England where she obtained a LPC (Legal Practice Certificate in 2009), and the University of Paris X, Nanterre, France, where she obtained a Master Degree in the Management of Small and Medium Businesses (2001). She also obtained a qualification as a Sole Accountant in Paris in 2002.
